Editor's review
This software lets you create a very wide angle panorama by stitching together normal photos.
Panoweaver is a panorama stitching software. It is possible to stitch single row/multiple rows images taken by normal lens, wide angle lens, and fisheye lens. The software creates automatically both spherical and cylindrical panoramas. This could be 360 degrees or partial. The stitching of the photos can also be manual. This is done by including matching points where two photos are to be stitched together along these points. Besides stitching panoramas, Panoweaver also exports 360 panoramic images into standalone SWF, Flash VR, QuickTime VR, and Java-based VR tours. The 360 degree panoramas are created by stitching together circular fisheye outputs. These could be used in other software tools to create a virtual tour. When saving a cubic panorama, you can also convert it to 6 cube face images. It is possible to create HDR image from Bracket exposure or directly from Camera RAW files. This feature is supported in professional and batch editions.
The photographs thus created can have hot spots inserted and these can be linked to desired URLs. Music/audio tracks can be added to the panoramic views. Buttons like print, email to, show help and play sound can be added to the scene viewer. When the panorama includes a SWF, the progress bar can be customized. This software is clearly for professional use. Unless you understand the photographic implications you would not be able to get the most benefits out of the software. Besides, it is good to actually try out such tools in your workflow and see if everything works properly.
